Your Challenges

• As a member of our central data team and in close cooperation with our data scientists, you will drive challenging data projects and realize technical solutions for business challenges.
• You will further develop the central data infrastructure of F.A.Z. and build a performant and scalable foundation for machine learning models and dashboards.
• You will support us in the setup and expansion of data models, including the necessary infrastructure via CI/CD.
• You will take over operation, monitoring, error analysis, and debugging.
• Specifically, the following tasks fall within your area of responsibility:
  • Setup, maintenance, and optimization of ETL processes, data lakehouse, and data models, as well as development of interfaces to operational systems.
  • Maintenance and operation of DevOps pipelines for automated deployments.
  • Support in the migration of our data infrastructure.

Your Profile

• You have a completed degree in computer science, media informatics, or business informatics, or a comparable qualification, and have initial professional experience in the field of Business Intelligence (BI) and/or Data Warehouse (DWH).
• You have a very good understanding of DWH/BI management and experience in handling and operating SQL databases, ETL processes, Microsoft Fabric, and programming languages (Python, Spark, SQL, etc.).
• You enjoy working interdisciplinarily with other data experts in the team and appreciate working in a dynamic environment with a lot of creative freedom – your conceptual and analytical skills and your communication strength will benefit you here.
• Due to your hands-on mentality and your structured, organized way of working, you prefer to work in a highly implementation- and results-oriented manner.
• You have a quick grasp and are motivated by unlocking previously untapped potential in the data field.
