Your Tasks

• Develop and operate productive data pipelines for reports, analyses, and machine learning, and ensure their quality and future viability.
• Use your software development skills and set new standards for development and deployment.
• Optimize the performance of data engineering solutions and guarantee their scalability.
• Ensure data quality and consistency through data validation and cleansing.
• Monitor and resolve errors in the data infrastructure to minimize downtime.
• Implement data security and data protection measures.
• Work in interdisciplinary agile teams with data scientists, data engineers, product owners, and business departments.

Your Profile

• Completed degree in Computer Science or talented career changer.
• Enthusiasm for Data Engineering and Software Development.
• Experience in Cloud, Containerization, and Big Data, ideally with Google Cloud, Kubernetes, and Spark.
• Knowledge of SQL or at least one programming language (Python, Scala, Java).
• Experience with developing data pipelines (e.g., Batch, Streaming).
• Knowledge of the software development lifecycle and its best practices (e.g., CI/CD, DevOps, Testing).
• Analytical skills, agile mindset, independence, and hands-on mentality.
