What we are looking for ?
We are looking for an enthusiastic junior software developer to join our experienced software design & development team. To ensure success as a junior software developer, you should have a good working knowledge of basic programming languages, the ability to learn new technology quickly, and the ability to work in a team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines and ETL workflows.
- Support the extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) of data from various structured and unstructured sources.
- Collaborate with data analysts, engineers, and business teams to understand data requirements.
- Write efficient SQL queries and scripts to process and validate large datasets.
- Work with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (training or guidance will be provided).
- Support data quality initiatives by conducting testing, validation, and documentation.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline issues as needed.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of SQL and basic understanding of Python or another scripting language.
- Familiarity with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server.
- Basic understanding of data structures, algorithms, and data modeling.
- Good problem-solving skills and willingness to learn new technologies.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
