Responsibilities

Your Role at Bethesda Game Studios

• Be part of a dedicated team managing AWS infrastructure for both development and production environments of our projects.
• Assist in managing microservices across multiple cloud platforms.
• Estimate your workload accurately and deliver high-quality results on time.
• Participate in a 24/7 on-call schedule alongside your team.

Qualifications

What Makes You Special

• Experience in building and running distributed applications on AWS.
• Expertise in Linux (Ubuntu, RedHat, Debian).
• Proficiency in coding with Python.
• Strong background in configuration management tools (Salt, Puppet, Chef, Ansible).
• Experience with version control systems (Git, Perforce, SVN, etc.).
• Able to write or modify significant code changes affecting scripts and infrastructure.
• Certification in Basic Security Principles in at least one cloud platform.
• Certification in Cloud Account Administration in at least one cloud platform.
• Capable of identifying root causes during on-call situations and resolving most issues independently.
• Proactively identify alert trends and create tasks to address these issues.
• Possess strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Effectively communicate upwards, breaking down complex technical concepts for a variety of technical backgrounds.

Preferred Skills

Bonus Skills

• Experience with Azure.
• Familiarity with Jenkins.
• Knowledge of Docker.

Salary Range

Junior DevOps Engineer - The expected starting salary for this position ranges from $65,000 - $125,000 per year.

ZeniMax offers competitive pay across different U.S. locations. The specific range will depend on the candidate’s primary work location, role complexity, and relevant experience. We review base pay ranges annually, making offers within the applicable range at that time.
