Junior Energy Analyst

Our client, a prominent player in the energy sector, is seeking a bright and enthusiastic Junior Energy Analyst to join their growing team in **Abuja, Federal Capital Territory, NG**. Responsibilities: Assist in collecting and organizing energy market data from various sources. Perform preliminary analysis of energy trends, pricing, and supply/demand dynamics. Help in the preparation of reports, presentations, and dashboards for internal stakeholders. Support senior analysts in market research and competitor analysis. Contribute to the development of economic models and forecasts. Maintain databases and ensure data integrity. Attend team meetings and contribute to discussions. Learn and apply various analytical tools and methodologies. Assist with ad-hoc requests and projects as assigned. Qualifications: Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Statistics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field. Strong analytical and quantitative skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. High level of attention to detail and accuracy. Eagerness to learn and develop expertise in the energy sector. Previous internship experience in a related field is a plus. Familiarity with energy markets or commodities is an advantage. Must be based in or willing to relocate to **Abuja, Federal Capital Territory, NG** for the duration of the internship.
