Junior Frontend Developer (AI EdTech Startup)

We are a small team building an AI-powered assistant for language learning and accent improvement (English and Spanish). Our product combines speech recognition, generative AI, and interactive learning.

We are currently looking for a Junior Frontend Developer to help maintain and develop our web platform.

Responsibilities

Maintain and improve the existing web application

Implement new UI features (based on designs or prototypes)

Work with APIs (integration of AI services, data handling)

Optimize performance and fix bugs

Participate in product discussions

Requirements

Basic knowledge of JavaScript / TypeScript

Experience with React (or similar frameworks)

Understanding of HTML, CSS (including responsive design)

Familiarity with Git

Ability to work independently and learn quickly

Nice to have

Experience working with APIs

Familiarity with Next.js

Interest in AI / EdTech

Pet projects
