CGI is seeking Junior Full Stack Developers for an internship designed for Indigenous students. You will work from September to May, developing scalable web applications while receiving leadership mentorship and networking opportunities. Gain experience in Java technologies, front-end frameworks like React or Angular, and back-end solutions, setting the stage for potential permanent employment.

Key Responsibilities

• Write Java code and develop scalable REST APIs
• Optimize back-end solutions with Node.js, Java, or Python
• Create front-end components using React or Angular
• Collaborate with designers and product owners for project success
• Manage SQL databases and optimize database performance

Requirements

• Experience with Java 8+, Spring, and Maven
• Proficiency in a front-end framework (React or Angular)
• Familiarity with back-end technologies like Node.js or Python
• Understanding of REST API development
• Must self-identify as Indigenous and enroll in a Canadian post-secondary program
