Junior Full Stack Developer

Job Summary

Verve is seeking a Junior Full Stack Developer to join our team onsite in Fairfax, VA. This role is ideal for a motivated developer with a strong foundation in .NET technologies who is eager to build, test, and support scalable web applications in a collaborative, Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate business and software requirements into functional web-based applications
• Design, develop, test, and support applications using .NET Framework and ASP.NET
• Participate in code reviews to ensure alignment with architectural standards
• Troubleshoot and resolve application and code-related issues
• Support software releases within an Agile development environment
• Ensure applications are high-performing, scalable, and reliable
• Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to deliver quality solutions

Requirements

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of software development experience
• Strong experience with: .NET Framework / ASP.NET
• Strong experience with: C#
• Strong experience with: SQL
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work both independently and within a team environment
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced setting

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with: Angular (8+)
• Experience with: Node.js
• Experience with: Bootstrap, CSS, HTML5
• Familiarity with: Web services / APIs
• Familiarity with: Oracle and MySQL databases
• Familiarity with: AWS cloud environment
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Experience with tools such as: Jira, Confluence
• Experience with tools such as: Git or TFS (version control systems)

Work Requirements

• Must be able to work onsite daily in Fairfax, VA
