Junior Game Developer

We are a growing game studio based in Durham, NC, passionate about creating immersive and engaging gaming experiences. We are looking for a talented Junior Game Developer to join our dedicated team.

What You'll Do

• Develop and implement game features using C++ and Unreal Engine.
• Collaborate with designers and artists to bring game concepts to life.
• Optimize game performance for various platforms.
• Debug and fix issues reported by QA and players.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to team best practices.

What We're Looking For

• 1-3 years of professional game development experience.
• Proficiency in C++.
• Experience with Unreal Engine.
• Strong understanding of game development principles.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Game Development, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Bonus Points

• Experience with other game engines.
• Knowledge of shader programming.
• Passion for playing and analyzing games.
