Junior IT Application Manager ERP Logistics

Your Role in the Team

• Start your career at the intersection of IT and logistics.
• In this role, you will work on ERP-supported logistics processes and gradually take on responsibility within our ERP landscape.
• You will collaborate with business and IT teams across the organization and contribute to improving how our systems support production and supply chain operations.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to ERP and digitalization projects in logistics across the full application lifecycle - from requirements to support.
• Work with logistics, production, and IT teams to understand processes and translate business requirements into system solutions.
• Help shape future-ready logistics processes by supporting improvements and automation initiatives.
• Take ownership of smaller improvements and changes - from idea to implementation and continuously improve the ERP logistics module.
• Support data analysis, reports and system adjustments (e.g. SQL- you’ll learn this on the job).
• Contribute to decision-making: prepare concepts, evaluate options and be part of team decisions for larger initiatives.
• Grow into a key role with increasing responsibility, supported by mentoring and hands-on learning.

Qualifications

• Interest in ERP systems, business processes with focus on Logistics and their interdependence.
• First exposure to databases or SQL.
• Analytical thinking and a structured way of working.
• Strong willingness to learn and develop in a dynamic environment.
• Team player with good communication skills and the ability to connect business and IT.
• Good English and German skills (B2 or higher); additional languages such as Czech are a valued plus.
• Willingness to travel occasionally (approx. up to 10%).

Education

• Education and Experience Background in IT, business informatics, or a related field or a motivated career changer from the SCM field with a strong interest in IT.
