Junior IT Project Control Officer

Overview

The Project Control Officer will support delivery of complex initiatives using both traditional waterfall and agile project methodologies.

This role is responsible for coordinating project activities, maintaining governance artefacts, supporting multiple releases, and enabling delivery across technology, product, and business process workstreams.

Deliverables include:

• Periodic and timely project updates and reports
• Minutes of meetings including action items and assigned resources
• Submit change request to Change Management
• Develop project plans

Must Haves

• Demonstrated know-how to get projects delivered under challenging circumstances and tight timelines.
• Minimum 3 years experience in project coordination.
• Experience with Project Management Lifecycle, Software Development Lifecycle, Agile/Scrum
• Experience delivering I&IT projects, including promotion of applications and services through different environments.
• Sound knowledge of finance and project cost-accounting principles and practices with demonstrated experience with managing project budgets.
• An ability to build strong relationships with clients, vendors and stakeholders.
• Great leadership and communication skills.
• A skill to coordinate work with various teams, internal and external, of different departments.
• An ability to provide project reports and updates to stakeholders in a timely manner.
