Junior IT Software Architect

About the Role

As a Junior Software Architect, you will play a crucial role in optimizing and implementing cloud solutions, with a focus on AWS and other cloud platforms. Your responsibilities will include:

Responsibilities

• Demonstrating expertise in AWS and other cloud platforms to optimize and implement cloud solutions
• Utilizing Boomi and Java for software development
• Troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues
• Implementing DevOps practices and tools
• Implementing CI/CD pipelines and automated testing and deployment best practices
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Node.js, with knowledge of Java and Python as a plus
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP, and containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
• Understanding of agile development methodologies and tools
• Experience in using Typescript would be beneficial
• Collaborating with cross‑functional teams to integrate cloud services into the technology strategy
• Establishing and maintaining principles, standards, and policies for system integrations
• Ensuring compliance with security, scalability, and performance best practices
• Managing IT initiatives and collaborating with technical staff
• Overseeing the development process for efficient delivery of high‑quality software
• Assessing and recommending integration tooling, middleware, and automation frameworks
• Driving the adoption of efficient engineering methodologies and improving development workflows
• Staying updated on emerging technologies and industry trends in the cloud domain
• Developing and implementing security best practices for cloud‑based environments
• Possessing knowledge of various data platforms and their integration with cloud services

Qualifications and Experience

• Preferred Educational Background: Bachelors in Computer Science or Equivalent
• Minimum Experience Required: 3 Years
• Proven experience as an IT Consultant focusing on cloud technologies
