Junior Java Developer with an interest in AI

Your role in the team

• Participation in the conception and development of new features and REST APIs (Spring Boot).
• Implementation of requirements in close collaboration with experienced colleagues.
• Use of modern AI tools (e.g., Claude) to support development, testing, and documentation.
• Maintenance and further development of existing applications as well as APIs.
• Assistance with user inquiries (1st level) for the analysis and resolution of simple issues.
• Support and training for clients – via phone or on-site.
• Gradual assumption of more responsibility – up to managing your own projects.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Java or other object-oriented languages.
• Knowledge of relational databases (SQL).

• Basic knowledge of Nomad, Consul, jOOQ is advantageous.

Experience

• Experience with REST APIs and web technologies (Spring Boot).
• Experience with AI tools, especially Claude (prompting, code support, analysis).

Education

• Completed education in the field of software development (HTL/FH/University or equivalent).
