Junior Labour Consultant / Legal Advisor

A well-established legal firm based in Upington is seeking a Junior Labour Consultant / Legal Advisor to join their team.

Minimum Requirements

• A minimum of a 3-year tertiary qualification (LLB, BCom Law, BA Law, HR or related field)
• Additional qualification in Labour Law (certificate/diploma) advantageous
• Minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience
• Valid driver’s license

Key Responsibilities

• Drafting employment contracts and company policies
• Conducting disciplinary enquiries
• Managing and facilitating Section 189 (retrenchment) proceedings
• Advising and assisting with poor work performance and ill-health enquiries
• Handling strike and lock-out processes
• Providing general labour law and employee relations advice to clients
