  • 5 years’ experience within these industries
  • Experience in operations management or project management
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Computer literacy in MS Office
  • Adaptable and flexible to work extended hours
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle after-hours crises
  • Strong people, leadership and fleet management skills
  • Good planning, problem-solving and organizational skills
  • Accountability and decision-making ability
  • Leadership and team coordination

  • Practical, hands-on management style within a fast-paced industry

DUTIES

  • Manage day-to-day operations of sanitation and facilities rental units at events and sites
  • Plan and optimize service routes and schedules
  • Supervise drivers, technicians and yard staff
  • Oversee fleet, equipment and pump unit maintenance
  • Asset Management
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations
  • Monitor service quality and resolve client issues promptly
  • Manage stocks (chemical, consumables, spare parts)
  • Control operational costs and improve efficiency
  • Liaise with clients, municipalities and suppliers
  • Assist with staff training, performance management and discipline

Salary: R negotiable dependent on experience
