Junior Product Developer (License Sock Design)

High Point Design is a one stop destination for all hosiery products including socks, tights, slippers, legwarmers and much more. The company holds some of the most recognizable entertainment and character licenses in the world, along with an assortment of seasonal, fashion, and fun novelty lines under the Jacques Morét label. In addition to these lines, the team fulfills the private label requests for all retail partners.

Responsibilities

• Working closely with Design, Sales, Licensors and Factories to develop designs into product.
• Assisting Designers and/or Product Developers in the following:
  • Preparing development tech packs for factories.
  • Reviewing and commenting on samples (design, layout, quality, etc.).
  • Communicating with overseas factories.
  • Logging status in internal PLM system.
  • Managing sample organization.
  • Keeping sample boards, line sheet books and computer files organized.
