Junior Product Manager (m/w/d)

PROGEN is driven by a mission to support scientists in making new scientific discoveries and groundbreaking research within the life sciences and gene therapy.

We are looking for an enthusiastic Junior Product Manager (m/w/d) with strong organizational skills to manage parts of our life science and gene therapy tools portfolio and join our highly motivated Product Management team.

Your role:

• Research markets, determine customers' needs, and identify opportunities for growth
• Provide input for product improvements & development
• Assist in the development of pricing strategies and production forecasts
• Draft and update product information, datasheets, user manuals, etc.
• Prepare and deliver product trainings and presentations, assist customers with scientific queries
• Act as coordinator for cross-functional teams - R&D, QM/QC, Marketing, Sales, Scientific Support, and Production
• Proactively identify, prioritize, and drive the resolution of issues, tasks, and projects, ensuring timely progress and clear ownership
• Very occasional travel to conferences is required

Your profile:

• A master's or bachelor's degree in life sciences or BTA and equivalent work experience
• Experience in standard lab techniques with a focus on molecular, cell biological, or biochemical analyses
• An ability to manage multiple priorities with a problem-solving attitude
• A profound interest in and an understanding of customer behavior
• A demonstrated ability to interpret market data and to offer insight and recommendations for business opportunities
• Solid computer & data analysis skills
• Very good written and spoken English (level C1) and German (level B2) skills (English for customer communication; German for internal co-ordination)
