Junior Project Manager

About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and highly organized Junior Project Manager to support the planning and delivery of the upcoming health.tech global summit 2027 in Basel.

The role is ideal for someone early in their career who is eager to gain hands-on experience within the international health-tech and conference ecosystem. The successful candidate will support speaker coordination, content operations, speaker communications, and onsite event execution across multiple stages and formats.

Working closely with project managers and the content operations lead, the Junior Project Manager will help ensure a smooth and high-quality experience for speakers, partners, and attendees throughout the summit lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day project coordination across content and operations workflows
• Assist with speaker communications, scheduling, and logistics
• Coordinate internal timelines, tracking sheets, and operational documentation
• Support session planning and stage preparation for the summit
• Liaise with speakers, suppliers, and external stakeholders in a professional manner
• Assist with attendee-facing communications and organizational tasks
• Support onsite event delivery, including stage management and troubleshooting
• Help maintain accurate records, databases, and project updates
• Contribute to ensuring a seamless and engaging summit experience

Ideal Experience

• 1–2 years of experience in project coordination, events, operations, communications, or related fields
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Comfortable working collaboratively across teams and with external stakeholders
• Proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and take initiative
• Interest in healthcare innovation, biotech, startups, or conferences/events is a plus
• Familiarity with tools such as Monday, Notion, HubSpot is advantageous
