Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Junior Sales Engineer position based in Parow Cape Town. The role involves assisting in the technical support and sale of pneumatic and electric products to meet client needs. Day-to-day tasks include customer visits for product presentations, supporting client inquiries, maintaining customer relationships, and collaborating with the engineering team to provide solutions. The Junior Sales Engineer will also be responsible for preparing proposals and ensuring customer satisfaction through ongoing support and communication.

Qualifications

• Experience in technical sales and knowledge of pneumatic solenoid valves,
• Proficiency in sales and strong customer service skills with ability to generate and qualify leads
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain technical concepts effectively
• Maintain regular sales activity records and reports
• Problem-solving and hands on technical support
• Willingness to learn and adapt to industry-specific technologies and systems
• A technical qualification will be a distinct advantage
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to client locations as needed
