To strengthen our team in Gießen, we are looking for a
(Junior) Software Developer (m/f/d)
in full-time
Responsibilities
- Conception, development, and implementation of applications and software solutions within the team
- Evaluation and selection of suitable technical solution approaches and technologies
- Collaboration with the test team as well as independent preparation and execution of tests to ensure quality
- Analysis and optimization of existing systems, applications, and interfaces
- Further development and adaptation of the administration system to new functional and technical requirements
- Creation and maintenance of technical documentation for the developed systems
Qualifications
- Completed studies in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable qualification
- Initial practical experience in software development, e.g., through internships, working student activities, or personal projects
- Basic knowledge in backend development with Java and Spring Boot in conjunction with Oracle databases, as well as in frontend development with TypeScript/JavaScript and Angular
- Confident use of version control (Git) or initial practical experience with it
- Basic understanding of data modeling (e.g., ERM, UML)
- Initial exposure to web services (REST; SOAP is a plus)
- Structured and quality-oriented way of working, as well as willingness to take responsibility and develop professionally
- Very good German and good English language skills
