Position Summary:
We are looking for a Junior Software Development Intern to join our RELI Labs team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with team members and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) in a dynamic environment. You will create quick proof-of-concepts (POCs) using innovative tools and technologies to help shape our future solutions for clients. Comfort with web and cloud application development, as well as data analytics and AI/ML tools, is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain web, data, and cloud applications that align with company initiatives.
- Work with teams, product managers, and stakeholders to gather requirements and implement effective solutions.
- Conduct rapid POCs using emerging tools and technologies, including AI and ML.
- Ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, and secure.
- Learn and apply coding best practices to minimize technical debt.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues while proactively implementing improvements.
- Collaborate with team members in an Agile environment.
- Take the initiative to learn new technical skills as needed for assigned tasks.
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of experience as a Developer during your academic career.
- Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React/Angular/Vue.js).
- Understanding of back-end technologies (Java, Node.js, Python, .NET, Ruby on Rails, or equivalent).
- Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases (SQL/NoSQL) and RESTful APIs.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools (Jira, source control tools).
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple teams.
Preferred Skills:
- Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with Data and Analytics platforms.
- Knowledge of GenAI and Agentic AI models as well as using AI for coding and testing.

Compensation:
The hourly rate for this position is $15.00. Actual compensation will depend on a range of factors, including but not limited to the individual's skills, experience, qualifications, certifications, location, and other business and organizational needs, as well as applicable employment laws. The estimate mentioned represents the typical salary range for this position.
