About the role

Description

We are seeking a Software Engineer to help build and advance a cutting-edge agentic platform designed to power intelligent, autonomous workflows. In this role, you will integrate diverse data sources and external APIs with MCP tools to enable seamless, scalable system interoperability.

You will collaborate closely with security analysts to translate operational challenges into effective technical solutions. The position involves hands-on development with agentic primitives such as skills, prompts, and subagents to create adaptive, context-aware capabilities. This role offers the opportunity to work at the forefront of AI-driven systems alongside senior engineers who will help you grow rapidly.

Note: Three (3) openings are available for this role.

Responsibilities

  • Develop agentic integrations in Python that leverage multiple AI models, APIs, and data sources in production.
  • Build tools and agentic workflows within modern frameworks such as PydanticAI, LangGraph, and DeepAgents.
  • Work directly with key stakeholders and security analysts to understand operational workflows and identify high-impact automation opportunities.
  • Contribute to real-time analytics pipelines in Python using Apache Kafka for stream processing and Elasticsearch for indexing and querying.
  • Help maintain and troubleshoot a production-grade agentic platform.

Skills Requirements

  • Software development experience with strong Python proficiency.
  • Exposure to building and maintaining production applications.
  • Familiarity with AI development concepts, including prompt engineering, context management, structured outputs, and tool/function calling.
  • Interest in developing resilient, scalable stream processing applications using modern messaging and event-streaming platforms.
  • Experience leveraging AI coding assistants for code generation, refactoring, debugging, and automation.

Nice to Haves

  • Exposure to agentic workflows or multi-agent orchestration.
  • Background or coursework in cybersecurity or security operations workflows.
  • Familiarity with AWS cloud and Kubernetes.
  • GitLab CI/CD automation.
  • Familiarity with retrieval systems (RAG, vector databases, semantic search).
  • Analyzing cybersecurity-related datasets (network traffic, OS events).

Compensation & Employment Policy

Salary is determined by multiple factors, including location, education, experience, skills, and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $130,000 – $160,000 (annualized USD).
