About the role

Your role in the team

  • As a Junior Software Engineer (all genders) in the Fulfillment Core team at Zalando, you provide centralised capabilities around Inventory Management and build products that are the foundation of every fulfillment aspect.
  • You will develop and test features that are deployed to production and create value for the customer.
  • You'll improve the team's developer experience, by automating repetitive tasks or improving test coverage.
  • You mainly work on extending existing software components by implementing small features and bug fixes for existing functionality.

Experience

  • You have a minimum of 1 year of experience with a JVM-based language like Java/Kotlin or experience with Typescript/Javascript. Knowledge of the Spring Boot, KTOR, React frameworks is a plus.

Education

  • You have an academic degree in computer science or a comparable field.
