Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop software systems that fulfill business requirements.
• Write, test, debug, and document software applications effectively.
• Prepare detailed specifications to guide program development and coding.
• Analyze existing systems to identify areas for improvement or enhancement.
• Explore and implement new technologies to optimize solutions and assess project timelines.

Specific Responsibilities

• Develop functional software applications with clear and concise code documentation based on customer specifications.
• Resolve defects in our in-house applications and third-party softwares.
• Create and modify database objects using scripts.
• Collaborate with Development Manager and senior developers on project deliverables.
• Participate actively in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including design and code reviews.
• Understand business processes to develop relevant test scenarios and create testing data.
• Conduct production support activities, monitor system health, and work through process exceptions.
• Communicate effectively regarding your work progress, deadlines, and any potential risks.
• Follow SDLC and change management procedures as outlined by the organization.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field with 0-3 years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Basic knowledge of Object-Oriented (OO) Programming and familiarity with databases.
• Understanding of various SDLC methodologies, including Waterfall and Agile.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in collaborative, self-driven team environments.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit for up to 80% of the time.
• Ability to lift or carry objects up to 10 lbs.
• Frequent use of a computer, telephone, and office equipment.

The compensation for this position ranges from $70,000 to $90,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
