Your Role

As part of the agile, customer-focused innovation team, you will support the planning and development of modern, robust software systems in the areas of data analysis, OSINT, AI, and situational awareness.

You will work on user-facing proof-of-concepts, demonstrators, and production-ready prototypes, learning to translate requirements into actionable technical solutions together with experienced colleagues.

You will implement new functionalities close to the customer, based on business logic and data modeling, and support the further development of architecture, data flows, and interfaces.

You will implement and operate applications in cloud or on-premise environments, gaining practical experience with containerization or orchestration, such as Docker or Kubernetes.

You will collaborate closely with product owners, architects, and other development teams to understand customer needs and translate them into powerful software solutions.

Qualifications

• You have a completed degree in computer science, a comparable qualification, or initial practical experience in software development and want to shape software with real impact.
• You are familiar with software development in e.g. Python, Rust, JavaScript, or comparable technologies and ideally have already implemented initial projects.
• You are familiar with state-of-the-art development techniques or want to deepen your knowledge, e.g., Test-Driven Development, Coding Styles, Clean Architecture, Design Patterns, or AI-supported development.
• You are interested in cloud, data, or distributed system environments and have initial knowledge of common database systems.
• You have initial exposure to interfaces, APIs, or middleware technologies and enjoy familiarizing yourself with modern software development libraries.
• In addition to a willingness to learn and a solution-oriented approach, you have a team-oriented, self-reliant, and agile mindset.
• Willingness to undergo security screening according to SÜG.
• Fluent German and good English skills, both written and spoken, complete your profile.
