Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance complex software systems including processing-intensive analytics, novel algorithm development, handling extremely large data sets, real-time systems, and business management information systems based on documented requirements.
  • Work individually or as part of a team.
  • Review and test software components for adherence to design requirements and document test results.
  • Resolve software problem reports.
  • Utilize software development and design methodologies appropriate to the environment.
  • Provide input regarding hardware/software trade-offs, software reuse, and requirements analysis from system level to individual components.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited institution, or four years of software engineering experience may substitute.
  • TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph clearance is required.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, C++, JavaScript, Python, Scala, Ruby, and Go.
  • Experience with IDEs like Eclipse, NetBeans, IntelliJ IDEA, PyCharm, Visual Studio, and VS Code.
  • Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, Unix, Linux, macOS), software frameworks (Spring, Angular, Bootstrap), databases (Oracle, MySQL, MongoDB), build tools (Maven, Jenkins), containers (Docker, Kubernetes), configuration management tools (Git, SVN, CVS), and cloud providers (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
