Die Schwarz IT betreut die gesamte digitale Infrastruktur und alle Softwarelösungen der Unternehmen der Schwarz Gruppe. Sie ist somit für Auswahl, Bereitstellung und Betrieb sowie Weiterentwicklung von IT-Infrastrukturen, IT-Plattformen und Business-Anwendungen zuständig. Um die Fachbereiche durch IT-Lösungen optimal bei deren Geschäftsprozessen zu unterstützen, nimmt die Schwarz IT die Anforderungen der Fachbereiche in Beratungsgesprächen auf und erarbeitet gemeinsam mit diesen professionelle und leistungsfähige IT-Lösungen.

Your Role

• You take on the role of a technology-savvy solution expert in our Store Concepts team.
• You will design, manage, and be responsible for your business applications, which we provide to our internal customers Kaufland and Lidl in 33 countries and 12,900 stores (USA/Europe).
• You feel at home in the retail sector and are excited to bring pioneering concepts using the latest hardware and software technologies to the stores.
• Therefore, you are not only the interface between business and IT, but also ensure functioning and scalable IT concepts by encompassing requirements analysis, software design, development, testing, rollout, and operation.
• You are eager to find and successfully implement the best solution for the digitalization and optimization of merchandise placement processes.
• You conceptualize applications with cross-sectional areas such as AI and BI for forecasts and analyses for optimal product placement – all individually tailored to each store.
• You continuously familiarize yourself with the business domains in the customer retail sector so that you can shape the digitalized future on equal footing with our international business departments.
• Thanks to your guidance, the development team assigned to you generates added value by optimally implementing technical concepts and specifications.
• Your passion lies in your growing application portfolio, which is why you are also involved in troubleshooting and develop measures for continuous optimization.

Your Profile

• Business consulting, IT project management, and software engineering, as well as Linux, Java, SQL, or SaaS, are familiar territory for you.
• You are characterized by an independent, self-responsible, and structured way of working with a high quality awareness; you never lose sight of the customer in your thinking and actions.
• You enjoy working with an exciting and diverse application portfolio based on non-SAP systems, as this is where you can build on your strengths and acquire new competencies.
• Your heart beats for the conception of tailor-made software solutions for sales-related areas, but you are also not afraid to get your hands dirty during implementation.
• Communicating with different stakeholders comes naturally to you, as does the simplified visualization of complex business or technical contexts.
• You have successfully completed a degree in computer science, have a comparable degree with a business focus, or have relevant experience in the sales-related retail sector.
• Language skills: You communicate confidently in spoken and written German and English.
