Your tasks

• You work closely with developers, operations colleagues, and product managers in an interdisciplinary and product-specific team.
• Your responsibility includes ensuring product quality, which you achieve together with your team through automated and manual quality control.
• As part of your work, you will advance test automation both qualitatively and quantitatively.
• You will exchange ideas with other colleagues across products to ensure and further refine the QA strategy.

What you bring with you

• Completed studies in computer science or a comparable qualification
• Interest in developing, improving, and implementing automated tests
• Good intuition for detecting development, conception, and logic errors
• Preference for reusable, automated test cases over lengthy manual tests
• Working with code, log files, and technical research are not a hurdle
• Enjoyment of teamwork and willingness to contribute one's own assessment and opinion
• Intrinsic motivation with the goal of continuously advancing product, team, and oneself
• Ideally, knowledge in some of the following areas:
  • Test automation
  • Scripting / Development with Python
  • Test creation in ReadyAPI / SoapUI
  • Relational databases (SQL) and queuing systems (e.g., Kafka)
  • CI/CD integration with Jenkins in combination with Docker and Git
  • JIRA, Confluence, XRay
• If not all points are met, that's not a problem – the key is the motivation to learn and apply new topics meaningfully.
• Secure written and spoken communication in German and English
