Responsibilities

• You will develop modern network, server, and virtualization concepts for exciting customer projects together with our team – always according to current international standards and best practices.
• You will create clear, visualized documents and diagrams for network, server, and virtualization infrastructures, bringing your personal touch.
• You will practically implement the planned components, use current automation tools such as PowerShell/Bash, and deployment, and ensure that every change is documented completely.
• You will support our security team with vulnerability analyses and pen tests, evaluate the results, and jointly develop cool mitigation strategies – thereby securing the infrastructure of our customer projects and protecting it from attacks.
• You will work closely with experienced colleagues (m/f/d), benefit from regular knowledge-sharing sessions, and have the opportunity to develop further in areas such as networking, virtualization, server/clients.

Requirements

• You have completed training as an IT specialist for system integration (m/f/d) or have a comparable qualification – the foundation is there.
• Initial experience from internships, working student activities, or a small job in the IT field is a plus, but not a must – we rely on your motivation and willingness to learn.
• You have a good feel for IT interrelationships, can independently analyze problems, and already possess basic knowledge of network technology (TCP/IP, VLANs, routing) as well as Windows and Linux server operating systems or virtualization.
• Very good German (written and spoken) and solid English skills (at least B2) are required for working with international documentation and tools, as well as international customers.
• You work independently, think solution-oriented, and are eager to tackle things – from the initial configuration to documentation.
• Proficient use of common MS Office programs and experience with collaborative tools (ticketing system, Teams, Git) are desired.
• You can communicate technical issues clearly and understandably, listen actively, and are a true team player.
