System Reliability Engineer (SRE)

What we will accomplish together:

You will join a Reliability & Production Engineering environment where system stability, scalability, and performance truly matter. You’ll work on large-scale, mission-critical platforms, supporting high-volume systems used globally.

Your mission (should you choose to accept it):

As a System Reliability Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the availability, resilience, and performance of production systems. You will collaborate closely with development teams to design, operate, and continuously improve reliable and observable services.

Your day-to-day responsibilities:

• Work closely with engineering and development teams to design, build, and maintain reliable systems
• Troubleshoot production issues across the entire stack: application, OS, database, and network
• Improve automation for deployments, system management, and monitoring
• Proactively identify reliability risks and drive corrective actions
• Participate in architecture design reviews and operational readiness exercises
• Collaborate with global teams in a follow-the-sun model
• Participate in on-call rotations, including occasional late shifts and weekends

You will join a collaborative and experienced SRE/production engineering team that values knowledge sharing, ownership, and continuous improvement.

Your Tech Stack:

• Linux / UNIX
• SQL & Databases (relational and NoSQL)
• Python, Bash (or similar scripting languages)
• CI/CD: Git, Jenkins, Docker, Artifactory
• Monitoring & Observability: Grafana, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Splunk
• Orchestration & Data: Airflow, Kafka, Spark
• ITSM tools: ServiceNow, Jira

You are:

• 2+ years of experience in production support, SRE, or reliability-focused roles
• Strong with Linux, SQL, and able to understand Java application logic
• Comfortable with automation and scripting
• Able to reason about distributed systems (microservices, load balancing, caching, messaging)
• Autonomous, curious, and solution-oriented
• Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-availability environments
• A strong communicator and a true team player

Nice to have:

• Financial services background
• Load balancer knowledge
• Experience with Kafka, Grafana, Splunk
