Jr. Technical Analyst

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Technical Analyst with a passion for digital platforms, APIs, and modern application architecture. In this role, you will collaborate cross-functionally with product owners, developers, architects, and QA teams to deliver scalable web, mobile, chat, and voice solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into technical system specifications for web and mobile applications
• Analyze and evaluate APIs (REST/SOAP) to support system capabilities and integrations
• Map and document data flows between systems and services
• Create and maintain system requirement documentation, including interface specifications
• Support feature prioritization, backlog refinement, and sprint planning in Agile/Scrum environments
• Perform application testing, validation, and troubleshooting to ensure system quality
• Investigate system issues using logs, documentation, and testing scenarios to identify root causes
• Collaborate with QA and development teams to resolve defects and production issues
• Deliver functional demos to internal teams and business stakeholders
• Work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment managing multiple priorities

Required Skills/Education

• 2–5 years of experience in a Technical Analyst, Systems Analyst, or similar role
• Strong understanding of API integrations, microservices, and service-oriented architecture (SOA)
• Experience with multi-tier application architecture (presentation, service, and data layers)
• Proficiency in writing SQL queries for data analysis and validation
• Hands-on experience translating business needs into technical requirements
• Familiarity with JSON, XML, and data mapping concepts
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments (sprints, stand-ups, retrospectives)
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Nice to Have

• Experience supporting web and mobile applications (external-facing platforms preferred)
• Hands-on experience with API testing tools such as Postman or SoapUI
• Exposure to chat, voice, or digital communication platforms
• Experience writing service-level or API requirements
