Role

We are looking for a Junior Technical Writer (m/f/d) based in Füllinsdorf. This is a temporary position until October 2027. In this role, you will contribute to the creation, development, and harmonization of high‑quality technical documentation that supports our customers and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Independent and responsible creation of internal and external product documentation (including operating and assembly manuals).
  • Updating and further development of existing documents, e.g., existing operating manuals.
  • Assisting in and contributing to the harmonization of external and internal documents.
  • Creating schematic illustrations to visualize products and processes.
  • Reviewing the automated translation of technical documents.
  • Quality assurance of our product documentation and handling of special tasks.

Qualifications

  • Education in Technical Writing or a related field (e.g., Eidg. Fachausweis Technikredaktor, CAS Technische Dokumentation, or other training in Technical Communication).
  • Degree in Technical Communication, Engineering, Natural Sciences, Languages, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Initial experience in technical documentation (internship or student role welcome).
  • Very good English and German language skills (minimum C1 level).
  • Ability to create clear, structured, and user‑friendly technical documentation (operating and assembly manuals).
  • Experience updating and further developing existing product documentation and supporting document harmonization.
  • Basic skills in creating schematic or technical illustrations using tools such as Visio, Illustrator, or similar.
  • Strong quality orientation, including reviewing automated translations and ensuring accuracy and consistency in documentation.
  • Detail‑oriented, proactive mindset with strong communication skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a technical environment.
