As an AI Platform, Edge & Infrastructure Engineer, you contribute to client engagements by shaping AI-driven platforms. You will work on Velocity AI, a PERLab technology harnessing agentic AI to accelerate product development. The role blends cloud, on-premises, and edge deployments to deliver scalable, secure, and cost-efficient solutions. You collaborate across disciplines to turn complex problems into practical, real-world platforms with measurable impact.

Responsibilities

• Own platform reliability and deployment, including CI/CD, environments, secrets, and observability
• Design hybrid deployment patterns across cloud, on-premise, and edge environments
• Operate model-serving, vector databases, and AI workloads with performance tuning
• Integrate with industrial devices and IoT sources to deploy solutions in client environments
• Maintain security, operability, and resilience with runbooks and incident response

Requirements

• 6–10 years of experience with hands-on platform engineering
• Proficiency in Linux, networking, containers, Kubernetes, IaC, and CI/CD
• Experience with Azure and cloud-native infrastructure; other cloud providers a plus
• Practical experience with AI workloads, model serving, vector databases, and GPU-backed infra
• Experience designing or supporting hybrid, on-premise, or air-gapped deployments
• Strong scripting/automation in Python, Bash, or similar
• Good security instincts for secrets, identity, networking, and enterprise deployment constraints
• Client-facing mindset with ability to communicate to non-technical stakeholders
