About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key accounts across Modern Trade and HORECA channels in Lagos Island and Mainland.
- Achieve assigned monthly and annual sales targets across the product portfolio.
- Ensure optimal product availability, visibility, pricing, and merchandising standards across all assigned outlets.
- Plan and execute tailored trade marketing initiatives and promotional activities to drive volume and brand visibility.
- Collaborate closely with distributors and internal logistics teams to ensure timely deliveries and consistent stock availability.
- Monitor competitor activities and provide actionable insights on pricing, promotions, and market trends.
- Negotiate trade terms, contracts, listings, and promotional agreements with key accounts.
- Track account performance and prepare periodic sales reports, forecasts, and market intelligence updates.
- Conduct regular outlet staff training on product knowledge, brand positioning, and service standards.
- Ensure full compliance with company policies, brand guidelines, pricing structures, and merchandising standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the FMCG or alcoholic beverage industry, with at least 2 years managing key accounts in Nigeria.
- Strong understanding of the Nigerian Modern Trade and HORECA landscape, particularly within Lagos.
