About Us
We are seeking a dynamic professional to develop and maintain our existing accounts through regular personal visits and systematic follow-ups. You will play a crucial role in driving growth and achieving our annual sales goals!
Key Responsibilities
- Engage consistently with existing accounts, traveling at least four days a week.
- Achieve annual sales targets by expanding relationships and penetration within existing accounts.
- Introduce innovative ideas and products from our exclusive vendors to foster loyalty and drive sales.
- Oversee the product mix to optimize profitability and ensure compliance with contracts.
- Maintain open communication with customers about performance, new product offerings, and market trends through formal Business Reviews and informal updates.
- Lead and support your sales team, ensuring they provide outstanding service to customers by collaborating with operational and purchasing functions as necessary.
- Monitor accounts receivable performance and coordinate with the central accounts receivable team to meet financial targets.
- Develop tailored sales strategies to meet unique client needs and expand sales opportunities.
- Keep comprehensive profiles on all accounts that include order guides and performance reports; ensure pricing accuracy.
- Participate actively in sales meetings, training sessions, food shows, and relevant conferences.
- Assist in launching new accounts as assigned to enhance market presence.
Relationships
- Internal: Collaborate with Sales Coordinators, Regional Sales Manager, VP of Sales, Accounting, Purchasing, and Operations.
- External: Build strong relationships with customers and vendors.
Qualifications
- High School diploma required; Bachelor's degree in Business or Marketing preferred.
- At least three years of relevant sales and distribution experience required, preferably in the foodservice industry.
- Experience in restaurant operations is highly valued.
- Familiarity with both quantitative and qualitative research data is beneficial.
Skills
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills with a knack for customer service and presentations.
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and strong negotiation skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications such as Excel and PowerPoint.
