Our client, an established provider of industrial solutions, is looking for an experienced Key Account Manager to support and develop its customer base in Lustenau, Vorarlberg, AT. In this strategically important position, you will be responsible for building and maintaining long-term relationships with our key business customers. You will identify customer needs, develop customized solutions, and contribute significantly to revenue growth.

Responsibilities

  • Systematic acquisition of new customers in the defined sales area and expansion of the existing customer portfolio.
  • Support and development of key accounts with a focus on long-term partnerships.
  • Analysis of customer needs and development of individual solution offers.
  • Responsibility for achieving sales targets in your own area.
  • Conducting sales negotiations at various decision-making levels.
  • Presentation of products and services to customers on-site and at trade fairs.
  • Close cooperation with internal departments (e.g. technical, product management, service) to ensure optimal customer support.
  • Creation of sales strategies and market analyses for your own sales area.
  • Regular reporting on sales activities, customer feedback, and market developments.
  • After-sales support to ensure high customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Completed studies (ideally with a focus on business administration, sales, or engineering) or a comparable technical education with sales experience.
  • Several years of professional experience in B2B sales, ideally in the industrial goods or services sector.
  • Proven success in supporting and developing key accounts.
  • Strong negotiation skills, communication strength, and persuasiveness.
  • High customer orientation and the ability to build long-term relationships.
  • Very good knowledge of the Austrian market and ideally also neighboring regions.
  • Very good German skills and good English skills.
  • Willingness to travel for customer support.
  • Goal-oriented and structured way of working.
  • Professional and presentable appearance.
