About the Role

To strengthen our sales team in Switzerland, we are looking for a dedicated and proactive individual for immediate permanent employment.

The Key Account Manager (KAM) Companion Animal (m/f/d) is responsible for the end-to-end management of strategically relevant national and international veterinary corporate customers within the Companion Animal Business Unit in Switzerland. The role ensures sustainable growth, strong and long-term customer partnerships, and consistent implementation of corporate account strategies.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

  • Full commercial responsibility for assigned Key Corporate Accounts, including planning, implementation, and monitoring of the entire sales cycle.
  • Development, implementation, and continuous advancement of strategic account plans in line with national, regional, and global priorities.
  • Central point of contact for the corporate customers managed, and steering of complex internal and external stakeholder landscapes.
  • Conducting senior-level interactions with decision-makers of the corporate accounts, including business reviews, contract and conditions negotiations, and long-term partnership discussions.
  • Ensuring cross-functional alignment and implementation through close collaboration with Sales, Marketing, Technical, Medical, Finance, Business Operations, and other relevant functions.
  • Swiss interface function to regional and international corporate account management teams with a focus on alignment, information exchange, and consistent implementation of agreed frameworks.
  • Steering account performance based on relevant KPIs, identifying opportunities and risks, and initiating appropriate follow-up measures.
  • Representing the company as a strategic partner to corporate customers, adhering to the highest standards of professionalism, compliance, and customer orientation.

Requirements

Education & Experience

  • Completed university degree in Business Administration, Life Sciences, Veterinary Medicine, or a comparable course of study.
  • Several years of professional experience in Key Account Management, Strategic Sales, or comparable commercial functions, ideally in the Animal Health, Pharma, MedTech, or a similar B2B environment.
  • Proven experience in managing complex customer relationships with multiple stakeholders and decision-making levels.
  • Experience in matrix organizations and in collaborating with regional and/or global teams.
