Your Role - More than Key Account Management
As a Key Account Manager, you will take on a central, entrepreneurial role in our sales department. You will not only be responsible for sales but will actively shape customer relationships, structures, and sales strategies - in close cooperation with management.
This position is designed for the long term and offers clear development opportunities into a leadership role, up to sales management, depending on performance and attitude.
Responsibilities
- Building, managing, and strategically developing a regional key account portfolio in the specified region
- Sustainable market expansion through targeted new customer acquisition
- Overall responsibility for sales, profit, and budget of your customer base
- Close and direct collaboration with management
- Independent management of annual and price negotiations
- Development and implementation of sales and promotional concepts in collaboration with customers, marketing, and product development
- Active participation in sales strategies and market positioning
- Representing the company at trade fairs and industry events
Requirements
- Completed commercial apprenticeship with further training, a degree in business administration, or a comparable qualification
- Several years of experience in key account management, including annual and price negotiations
- Experience in German foodservice, ideally also in retail
- Proficient in handling key figures, contribution margins, and budgets

Requirements
- Abgeschlossene kaufmännische Ausbildung mit Weiterbildung, ein betriebswirtschaftliches Studium oder eine vergleichbare Qualifikation
- Mehrjährige Erfahrung im Key Account Management inkl. Jahres- und Preisgesprächen
- Erfahrung im deutschen Foodservice, idealerweise auch im LEH
- Sicherer Umgang mit Kennzahlen, Deckungsbeiträgen und Budgets
Responsibilities
- Aufbau, Betreuung und strategische Weiterentwicklung eines regionalen Key-Account-Portfolios in der genannten Region
- Nachhaltiger Marktausbau durch gezielte Neukundengewinnung
- Gesamtverantwortung für Umsatz, Ertrag und Budget deines Kundenstamms
- Enge und direkte Zusammenarbeit mit der Geschäftsführung
- Eigenverantwortliche Führung von Jahres- und Preisverhandlungen
- Entwicklung und Umsetzung von Verkaufs- und Aktionskonzepten gemeinsam mit Kunden, Marketing und Produktentwicklung
- Aktive Mitwirkung an vertrieblichen Strategien und Marktpositionierungen
- Repräsentation des Unternehmens auf Messen und Branchenevents
