Job Description
To strengthen our sales team in Switzerland, we are looking for an experienced and entrepreneurially minded individual as a Key Account Manager for the Power Tool Accessories sector in the trade sector.

Your Main Tasks:
- Customer Development & Support: You develop and consolidate sustainable business relationships with defined key accounts through regular visits to their headquarters and external locations. The strategic acquisition and development of selected new customers complete your area of responsibility.
- Overall Responsibility: You are fully responsible for sales, costs, and margins of the entire accessory and hand tool portfolio for your customers and actively manage the product lifecycle.
- Negotiation Management: You conduct annual reviews and negotiations at the decision-maker level. The design and maintenance of the associated contracts are also part of your responsibilities.
- Market Analysis & Strategy: Through precise market and customer analyses, you identify relevant growth segments. You align these with customer needs to derive and implement profitable, potential-appropriate strategies.
- Customer Activities & POS: You plan and implement customer-specific activities, from assortment design and advertising appearances to training and effective point-of-sale measures and marketing campaigns.
- Product Launches: You ensure the successful introduction of new products and campaigns and position our innovative accessory range prominently in the market.
- Interface Management: You act as a central interface and ensure close, coordinated cooperation with the power tool sales team, the end-user team, local marketing, and the global business unit.
- Project Responsibility: You take on project management for further customer projects in areas such as electronic process integration (EDI), logistics optimization, master data management, or category management.
Qualifications
- Education: You have a solid commercial or technical basic training, supplemented by higher education (e.g., HF/FH in Business Administration, Sales Management). A university degree is a plus, but not a requirement.
- Experience & Know-How: You have 5-10 years of experience in field sales (as Key Account or Area Sales Manager), ideally in a related industry. Proficient use of common IT applications, especially MS Excel and PowerPoint, is a matter of course for you.
- Personality and Work Style: You are a convincing, engaging personality with entrepreneurial and proactive action. You sense growth opportunities, build strong relationships, and take results-oriented responsibility from day one to translate impulses into measurable success.
- Languages: You have fluent Swiss German or German. You also have good basic knowledge of English and French.
