Software Integration Engineer

Job Description

The CCE provides secure, multi-tenant, high-performance, and highly available Kubernetes clusters operating within a Linux-based infrastructure.

Requirements

• Clearance: Active TS/SCI w/Polygraph REQUIRED. Please do not apply if you do not currently possess this level of clearance.
• Experience: 6 years of demonstrable experience with integrating, installing, configuring, upgrading, compiling, and supporting COTS/GOTS software in a heterogeneous operating system environment.
• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field. (5 additional years of applicable professional experience may be substituted for a degree.)
• Linux CLI: Experience using the Linux CLI and Linux suite of tools
• Scripting: Experience developing scripts using Bash/Python
• Containerization: Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker/Podman
• Kubernetes Administration: Demonstrated experience administrating and monitoring Kubernetes clusters
• Kubernetes Troubleshooting: Experience troubleshooting and resolving issues related to Kubernetes workloads (ingress, performance, networking, storage, etc.)
• IaC: Experience with IaC principles, concepts, and methodologies using automation tools including Ansible
• Helm: Experience writing, deploying, and maintaining Helm Charts
• Git: Experience using Git for source code management, branching strategies, and team collaboration

Desired Experience

• Atlassian Tool Suite (Jira, Confluence, etc.)
• DevOps environment using Agile principles and methodologies
• System monitoring tools such as Prometheus / Grafana
• Development of Python applications (REST services, microservices, etc.)
• CKA (Certified Kubernetes Administrator)

Salary

$205,000 - $215,000 annually
