Our company is currently looking for a L2 Network Engineer who will monitor and log incidents while doing first line investigations and diagnosis to quickly restore services within SLA.

Responsibilities

  • Maintaining a good relationship with internal and external customers.
  • The support of SDWAN and SDACCESS solutions such as CISCO
  • The support of Cisco solutions such on a SDWAN Controller
  • The engineer will be responsible making sure that all client support cases are met, responded, and resolved in a timely manner without breaching the SLA.
  • Customer focused – will be required to follow up with clients, have joint troubleshooting sessions with the client to help achieve speedy resolutions.
  • Must have basic knowledge of cisco networking technologies such as BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, HSRP etc.
  • Ability to communicate and work across different cultures and social groups
  • Ability to plan activities and projects well in advance, and takes into account possible changing circumstances
  • Ability to maintain a positive outlook at work
  • Ability to work well in a pressurized environment
  • Ability to work hard and put in longer hours when it is necessary
  • Ability to adapt to changing circumstances
  • Ability to place clients at the forefront of all interactions, understanding their requirements, and creating a positive client experience throughout the total client experience.

Requirements

  • At least 2-3 Years’ experience in a networking environment
  • An appropriate tertiary qualification in computer science or information technology
  • Valid CCNA/CCNP SDWAN Enterprise certification
  • A+ N+ requirement
