About
Our company is currently looking for a L2 Network Engineer who will monitor and log incidents while doing first line investigations and diagnosis to quickly restore services within SLA.
Responsibilities
- Maintaining a good relationship with internal and external customers.
- The support of SDWAN and SDACCESS solutions such as CISCO
- The support of Cisco solutions such on a SDWAN Controller
- The engineer will be responsible making sure that all client support cases are met, responded, and resolved in a timely manner without breaching the SLA.
- Customer focused – will be required to follow up with clients, have joint troubleshooting sessions with the client to help achieve speedy resolutions.
- Must have basic knowledge of cisco networking technologies such as BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, HSRP etc.
- Ability to communicate and work across different cultures and social groups
- Ability to plan activities and projects well in advance, and takes into account possible changing circumstances
- Ability to maintain a positive outlook at work
- Ability to work well in a pressurized environment
- Ability to work hard and put in longer hours when it is necessary
- Ability to adapt to changing circumstances
- Ability to place clients at the forefront of all interactions, understanding their requirements, and creating a positive client experience throughout the total client experience.
Requirements
- At least 2-3 Years’ experience in a networking environment
- An appropriate tertiary qualification in computer science or information technology
- Valid CCNA/CCNP SDWAN Enterprise certification
- A+ N+ requirement
