Webmentix GmbH is seeking L3 Oracle DBAs with deep Exadata, RAC, and performance tuning expertise to manage high‑performance production databases in mission‑critical environments. Multiple positions available.

As an L3 Oracle DBA, you will handle Exadata health checks, migrations, RAC/ASM/Dataguard administration, performance tuning, backup/recovery, and 24x7 global support across Solaris/Linux/AIX platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Exadata & Infrastructure Management: Perform Exadata health checks, migrations, resource management, patching/upgrades; manage RAC, ASM, Dataguard, Infiniband switches, and storage cells.
  • Database Administration: Build, administer, troubleshoot (break/fix), and tune Oracle 11gR1/R2 RAC clusters; manage Clusterware/GRID Infrastructure/CRS.
  • Performance Tuning: Apply SQL and database‑level performance tuning expertise to optimize high‑capacity production databases.
  • Backup, Recovery & Migration: Execute RMAN, datapump, export/import for backup/recovery and migrations.
  • Monitoring & Maintenance: Use Oracle Enterprise Manager Grid Control for database management and maintenance.
  • Support & Troubleshooting: Aid development teams with issue analysis; provide 24x7 global production support with strong diagnostics.
  • Automation & Scripting: Develop database scripts and automation; leverage shell scripting on Solaris/Linux/AIX.
  • Change Management: Competently handle ITIL‑based Change/Release Management processes.

Required Skills and Experience

Primary Skills

  • Top‑notch Exadata specialist (health checks, migration, resource management, patching/upgrades)
  • Solid Oracle 11gR1/R2 RAC experience (build, administration, troubleshooting, performance tuning)
  • Expertise in Clusterware/GRID Infrastructure/CRS, Oracle ASM, Dataguard administration
  • SQL/Database performance tuning; RMAN/datapump/export‑import for backup/recovery/migration
  • Oracle Enterprise Manager Grid Control for maintenance/management
  • Shell scripting on Solaris/Linux/AIX OS

Secondary Skills

  • Experience with Infiniband switches and storage cells

  • Experience working with offshore vendors in large corporate settings
  • Willingness to work 24x7 global support model
  • Proven team player who builds relationships and takes ownership
  • Competence in collaborative environments supporting development teams

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (Mandatory)

Eligibility & Work Model

  • 2‑3 days onsite in Frankfurt, Germany
  • Candidates must be present in Germany or willing to relocate
  • Immediate availability preferred
