Lead 5G Network Solutions Architect

Our client, a global leader in telecommunications infrastructure, is seeking an innovative and experienced Lead 5G Network Solutions Architect to join their cutting-edge, fully remote team. This role is pivotal in designing and evolving complex 5G network solutions for enterprise clients. You will leverage your deep technical expertise to architect scalable, secure, and high-performance 5G architectures that meet the evolving demands of the digital landscape.

Key Responsibilities: Design and architect end-to-end 5G network solutions tailored to enterprise client requirements, encompassing core network, RAN, transport, and edge computing. Collaborate with sales teams to understand client needs, develop technical proposals, and present solutions. Lead the technical aspects of Proof of Concepts (POCs) and pilot projects for new 5G technologies and services. Provide expert guidance on 5G architecture best practices, including network slicing, NFV/SDN, and cloud-native principles. Evaluate and recommend new technologies and vendor solutions to enhance our 5G offerings. Troubleshoot complex network design issues and provide technical leadership during implementation phases. Develop comprehensive technical documentation, including design guides, architecture diagrams, and solution specifications. Stay at the forefront of 5G advancements, including mmWave, Massive MIMO, and new spectrum allocations. Mentor junior solutions architects and engineers, sharing knowledge and fostering technical growth. Engage with industry forums and standards bodies to stay informed on the latest 5G developments. Qualifications: Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related field. Minimum of 10 years of experience in telecommunications network design and architecture, with at least 5 years focused specifically on 5G technologies. Deep understanding of 5G standards (3GPP releases), network functions, and protocols. Proven experience architecting solutions involving cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), NFV, and SDN. Expertise in network slicing, edge computing, and service-based architectures. Strong knowledge of IP networking, security principles, and optical transport. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills. Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence technical and business stakeholders. Demonstrated leadership experience in guiding technical teams. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, fully remote global work environment.
