We are establishing a new in-house AI team to deliver on our group-wide AI vision, and this role will play a key part in shaping our technical direction and building solutions with real impact.

Responsibilities

• We manage and coach a new 6-person group-wide AI development team.
• We design, build, and scale production-ready LLM, RAG, and agentic systems.
• We develop AI Insurance Advisors, policy analysis tools, and automated document processors.
• We select tools and manage scalable enterprise AI infrastructure across cloud or on-prem.
• We connect modular AI pipelines into existing corporate .NET stacks and APIs.
• We partner with IT, business units, and the board from ideation to production.

Requirements

• We have at least 3 years of working experience in software development, data science, or AI engineering.
• We have advanced skills in LLMs, RAG, agentic systems, and model fine-tuning.
• We have a proven track record of building scalable AI pipelines and LLMOps/MLOps infrastructure.
• We are proficient in Python, vector databases, and cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP, ideally with experience in .NET or TypeScript.
• We have a background in technical mentoring, team leadership, and strategic architecture.
• We are fluent in both German and English.
