Lead AI Solutions Architect - Cloud Infrastructure

Our client is at the forefront of innovation and is seeking a visionary Lead AI Solutions Architect to drive the design and implementation of cutting-edge artificial intelligence solutions. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to work from anywhere with a strong internet connection. You will be responsible for architecting scalable, robust, and secure AI-driven platforms and applications that leverage advanced machine learning, deep learning, and natural language processing techniques. Your role will involve collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, software engineers, and product managers, to translate complex business requirements into technically viable AI solutions.

You will guide the selection and integration of appropriate AI/ML frameworks, tools, and cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), ensuring optimal performance, cost-efficiency, and adherence to best practices. This includes designing data pipelines, MLOps strategies, and deployment architectures for models in production. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the end-to-end AI/ML lifecycle, from data ingestion and preprocessing to model training, evaluation, and deployment. You will play a critical role in evaluating emerging AI technologies and recommending their adoption where appropriate to maintain our client's competitive edge. Mentoring and guiding junior architects and engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and innovation, will also be a key aspect of this role. You will contribute to the development of reusable AI components and patterns, accelerating future development efforts. Strong communication and presentation skills are essential to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. This role requires a proactive, self-motivated individual who thrives in a remote, collaborative environment.

Qualifications: A Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related quantitative field. Minimum of 10 years of experience in software architecture, with at least 5 years specifically focused on designing and implementing AI/ML solutions. Proven expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and their AI/ML services. Strong programming skills in Python and experience with relevant libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn). Deep understanding of various ML algorithms, statistical modeling, and data mining techniques. Experience with MLOps practices and tools. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams and influence architectural decisions. Strong understanding of data engineering principles and distributed systems. Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects effectively in a remote setting.
