ROI Agency

Washington · On-site Full-time Lead $125k – $190k/yr 1w ago

About the role

About

We’re partnering with an organization looking for a Senior / Lead Financial Analyst to take ownership of high-impact analytical initiatives that shape long-term financial and operational strategy.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building and evolving complex models, translating data into clear recommendations, and leading projects that influence executive-level decisions.

Salary range: $125,000 - $190,000 DOE. Relocation Assistance available if applicable.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Own and evolve multi-year financial and operational models used to guide strategic planning and decision-making
  • Lead end-to-end analytical projects, from problem framing through execution and delivery of insights
  • Translate complex data into clear, actionable narratives for non-technical stakeholders
  • Partner cross-functionally to gather inputs, validate assumptions, and align on recommendations
  • Develop and refine frameworks that improve how the business analyzes cost structures, forecasts, and long-term trends
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership, driving alignment and action
  • Manage multiple high-visibility initiatives simultaneously, ensuring timelines and priorities are met

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong background in analytics, financial modeling, or data-driven decision support
  • Proven ability to turn analysis into recommendations, not just reporting
  • Experience working with large or complex datasets and building models in Excel or similar tools
  • Ability to communicate insights through storytelling and visualization, tailored to business audiences
  • Experience leading projects or influencing stakeholders across teams
  • Exposure to tools like Python, R, or similar for data analysis is a plus

Additional Context (Not Required, But Helpful)

  • Experience working with financial or operational data in any industry
  • Background in pricing, cost modeling, or long-term forecasting is beneficial but not required
  • Experience supporting large-scale or multi-year initiatives

Why This Role matters

This is a high-ownership, high-visibility role where you’ll help shape how the organization thinks about long-term strategy. You won’t just be maintaining models—you’ll be improving them, expanding them, and using them to drive real decisions.

Requirements

Basic Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated career progression with increasing responsibilities.
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Finance, Accounting, Treasury, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • Experience analyzing and visualizing data in Excel, including advanced functions, modeling, and reporting.
  • Experience leading projects or cross-functional teams.
  • Experience using R, Python, or similar tools to manipulate, analyze, and visualize large datasets.
