Your Role

Shape the future of mobile applications and become part of our team as Lead Android Developer (w/m/x). With your technical skills and creative ideas, you will develop and optimize innovative solutions for millions of users.

Sounds like you? Then we are looking for you as soon as possible – preferably full-time (40 hours per week) in Berlin (hybrid).

Your Responsibilities

• You design and optimize innovative Android applications in Android Studio – using Jetpack Compose & Compose Navigation and Kotlin Coroutines
• You support our customers in implementing modern technologies (e.g. Kotlin Multiplatform) and develop individual, future-oriented solutions
• Together with your colleagues, you realize demanding projects – supported by CI/CD pipelines (e.g. Jenkins or GitHub Actions) and test automation tools like Paparazzi, maestro.dev and JUnit
• You skillfully integrate REST/GraphQL APIs, push notifications, analytics frameworks, and third-party libraries into the existing app
• With crash reporting tools like Firebase Crashlytics or Sentry, you ensure that errors are proactively identified and resolved
• As a mentor, you support Junior Developers (w/m/x) in their professional and personal development

Your Skills

• You have several years of professional experience as an Android Developer (w/m/x)
• Daily use of technologies such as Kotlin Coroutines/Flow, Jetpack Compose & Compose Navigation is part of your repertoire
• You have a good understanding of software architecture, clean code, and unit testing
• Ideally, you have already gained experience in supporting wearables (e.g. Thryve SDK), device hardening (e.g. with Build38) and integrating content management systems (e.g. Strapi)
• With your strong communication skills and confident demeanor, you can explain complex technical issues understandably – both in the team and to clients
• You take ownership, drive solutions independently, and know how to master complex technical challenges together with your team
• You ensure smooth knowledge transfer and effectively coordinate the collaboration of different teams to ensure continuous project progress
• You are eager to learn new technologies like Kotlin Multiplatform and have experience with agile development methods
• Fluent German (C1) and very good English skills (B2) complete your profile
