About the Role

As a senior member of our product engineering team, you’ll own the end‑to‑end development of high‑impact in‑app experiences for millions of users worldwide. What You’ll Do

• Lead Core Experience Development – Architect, build, and ship the flagship features that define our app’s user journey.
• Collaborate with Design – Partner with UI/UX designers to refine flows, create pixel‑perfect interfaces, and iterate rapidly on A/B experiments.
• Build Reusable Tooling – Design and maintain libraries, SDKs, and internal frameworks that enable cross‑team collaboration and accelerate feature delivery.
• Champion Performance & Reliability – Own the performance budget for UI rendering, memory usage, and battery impact; implement monitoring, profiling, and automated testing to keep the app rock‑solid at scale.
• Drive Safety & Trust – Integrate safety mechanisms (e.g., content moderation, secure data handling, privacy‑first defaults) and work with security engineers to mitigate risk.
• Scale Feature Delivery – Leverage feature‑flagging, rollout strategies, and data‑driven metrics to launch, iterate, and roll back features safely.
• Mentor & Influence – Guide junior engineers, lead code reviews, and foster a culture of continuous learning and high‑quality craftsmanship.

What We’re Looking For

Requirement	Details
Experience	5+ years building consumer‑facing Android apps that serve millions of users.
Technical Mastery	Deep expertise in Kotlin, Android Jetpack, Coroutines, Compose, and modern Android architecture (MVVM, Clean Architecture, etc.).
UI Performance	Proven track record of optimizing UI rendering, animation smoothness, memory usage, and battery consumption.
Scalable Feature Delivery	Hands‑on experience with feature flagging platforms (e.g., LaunchDarkly, Firebase Remote Config) and progressive rollout pipelines.
Safety & Security	Familiarity with privacy‑by‑design, secure storage, and in‑app safety features.
Collaboration	Strong communication skills; comfortable partnering with designers, product managers, data scientists, and cross‑functional teams.
Education	Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field or equivalent professional experience.

Bonus: Experience with Jetpack Compose, Kotlin Multiplatform, CI/CD for Android, and data‑driven experimentation frameworks.
