Job Description
- Lead the day‑to‑day Accounts Payable activities within a centralized finance organization, ensuring accurate invoice processing, timely payments, and smooth collaboration with internal stakeholders and suppliers.
- Take ownership of AP processes and controls, contributing to reliable month‑end closures, VAT compliance, and alignment between sub‑ledgers and the general ledger.
- Manage and support a small AP team, with a clear mandate to professionalize ways of working and scale the function as the organization grows.
- Play an active role in finance transformation initiatives, including process harmonization, automation projects, and system enhancements within the ERP environment.
- Support the integration of newly acquired entities, helping to align AP practices, data, and workflows within a standardized framework.
- Act as a key contact for audits and internal reviews, ensuring proper documentation, clear procedures, and strong compliance standards.
The Successful Applicant
- Solid experience in Accounts Payable within a multi‑entity or centralized finance environment, ideally with exposure to Shared Services Center operations (SCC).
- Proven experience working with an ERP system, with a good understanding of system flows and the ability to support process optimization and automation initiatives.
- Strong understanding of end‑to‑end AP processes, including invoice processing, payments, supplier management, and VAT‑related topics.
- Demonstrated ability to structure, improve, and standardize processes, with a clear interest in continuous improvement.
- Comfortable operating in a transformational environment, including system enhancements and the integration of new entities.
- Initial team coordination or leadership experience is an advantage, combined with a hands‑on and autonomous mindset.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage priorities in a fast‑paced setting.
- Fluent in English; good command of French or German required.
