Lead Bridge Engineer

Our client, a globally recognized leader in civil engineering and infrastructure design, is seeking an experienced Lead Bridge Engineer to join their fully remote team. This senior position requires a visionary professional who can lead the design and execution of complex bridge projects across various scales and types, from pedestrian walkways to major highway crossings. You will be responsible for overseeing all phases of bridge design, including conceptualization, preliminary and detailed design, structural analysis, seismic design, construction support, and project management. The ideal candidate will possess a Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, with a specialization in bridge engineering, and a minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in bridge design and project leadership. Proven expertise in advanced structural analysis software (e.g., MIDAS Civil, CSIBridge, LUSAS) and CAD tools is mandatory. A strong understanding of relevant design codes and standards (e.g., AASHTO, Eurocodes) is essential. You will be expected to mentor junior engineers, conduct peer reviews, manage project timelines and budgets, and liaise effectively with clients, regulatory agencies, and construction partners.
